In 1960 Mr. Yip C. established a company entitled "Leo Factory". It was the first iteration of the company that would one day come to be Leading Extreme Limited. Leo Factory manufactured a wide variety of goods at its inception, but despite its diverse range of products the company only introduced magnifiers into its production lines fifteen years later in 1975. Leo Factory's magnifiers and optical products found early success in its marketplace, and those first innovative products became the primary production focus of the company. 1987 marked the beginning of a new era for the company as it began expanding past the borders of its native Hong Kong, and in 1992 the company rebranded as "Leading Extreme Optimist Industries Limited". With this new name came the construction of a second factory in Shenzhen, China, and in 2004 the opening of an office in Macau. During this period Leading rapidly expanded its presence across the region and throughout the world and earned its reputation as a world-famous optical manufacturer. Leading's most recent iteration was revealed in 2019, with a rebrand to "Leading Extreme Limited" and a move to a much larger facility in Zhongshan, Guangdong Province. This new facility was equipped with the most modern optical technology available.Today, Leading Extreme Limited exports products to more than 100 different countries worldwide and has grown to be one of the most trusted manufacturers of OEM/ODM magnifying products in the world.
